We thought we were done at four dogs and weren't really looking for another dog, WRONG.
Fate kinda helped Thunder find us, and when the other "Smug Mutts" excepted him into the pack with open paws
that was it, we had Smug Mutt number five.
Thunder was one of 9 accidental puppies born to a Beagle and sired by a Newfoundland. Thunder has a twin sister
named Tuffy that lives with his momma Kelly. Thunder and Tuffy are almost identical and it is hard to tell them
apart.
He's five years old now and weighs about 70 pounds and looks just like a miniature Newfoundland dog. He also
swims like a real Newfie, he just doesn't like it, but he does love the cold weather and the snow.
He loves to run, JUMP, play and roll around and dig in the DIRT, hence the nicknames "Bunny Rabbit" and "Dirt
Dog". His big brothers Jaxxon and Parker take turns entertaining and protecting him.
Thunder is a squeaky toy aficionado who has a strange way of squeaking them. He pushes on them with his nose.
His favorite is his Sea Turtle.
Thunder also holds the distinction of being the only Smug Mutt with his own Logo and Theme Song. His logo is
above and his theme song is AC/DC's "Thunderstruck".
